RCEM
Rectifier Condition and Evaluation Monitoring System
The RCEM is a non-contact measurement system designed to detect the balance of every semiconductor within a rectifier. This measurement is critical for testing rectifiers and preventative maintenance while being easily portable.
- Measurement of 12 to 240 individual channels
- Completely portable system with the ability to check multiple ANSI configurations
- Quick measurements allow for repeatability and ease of data collection in real time
- Includes DynAmp interface software and dedicated laptop
- Maximum channel current of 10kA
- Adjustable alarm capabilities to ensure protection of the system
The RCEM is comprised of three main components; the measurement heads, the data acquisition unit (DAU), and the personal computer. The measurement heads are Rogowski coils that wrap around the diodes and take the current measurement. The DAU takes the analog signal from the Rogowski coils and converts the data into a digital signal that the personal computer uses via USB connection to visualize the data in the DynAmp proprietary software.
The measurement data is displayed in real time to monitor the devices on each leg of the rectifier. This allows operators to easily adjust the devices within the rectifier or observe the rectifier’s behaviors over a period.
