Applications:
Fusion
Plasma Fusion, also called star in a bottle. Compressed gases are pumped into a chamber along with radio waves that are then activated by a neutral beam. The following reaction creates plasma that exceeds the temperature of our sun in some cases! The plasma itself is magnetically sensitive, and this feature is harnessed to create large amounts of energy.

Process Applications
The magnets used within the process to keep the plasma balanced are powered by DC current.
High accuracy and reliability of the DC current measurement is imperative in this process because if the plasma is not perfectly balanced by the electro-magnets, inefficiencies could be created or there could be a catastrophic failure from the stray plasma.
